This concert will feature new commissions from Stephen Hartke, hailed by the New York Times as one of America's Young Lions," and Tamar Muskal, whose Sound Mirror incorporates the live, interactive digital art of Danny Rozin. Thomas Albert's The Devil's Handyman takes its cue from the bizarre and humorous sculptures of H.C. Westermann, while artists as diverse as Constantin Brancusi and Jasper Johns inspire Barbara White's Learning to See. The program is also highlighted by Martin Bresnick's poignantly reflective My Twentieth Century and Thierry de Mey's stunning visual ballet for the hands, Musique de Tables. The concert will feature still and real-time processed digital images projected on stage. Pre-concert talk at 7:15pm $21 General, $17 Seniors, Wesleyan Faculty and Staff, Non-Wesleyan Students, $6 Wesleyan Students For more information: 860-685-3355; boxoffice@wesleyan.edu
