After a night of interesting New Zealand music (disparate influences, as far afield as pygmy music and jazz, abstracted into very satisfying musical by-products) at Music 08 it was time to hunker down for some atrocious beer courtesy of Christie’s delightful beer garden. (The Phot: time to write your first “Beer o’clock” entry!)
Following some restrained boozing, we hit our number one Cincinnati haunt: Skyline Chili. This Ohio institution has provided 8bb with a decade of satisfaction. Tonight we ate in, ordering Regular Five-ways (for those keeping score, that means: chili, spaghetti, onion, beans, and the most fluorescent cheese known to man).
Still feeling a little peckish I took away some Skyline in takeout form (pictured above), a simple humble Three-way: chili, spaghetti and cheese.
The Phot took lots of photos on this Wednesday evening. And he will post. Today. That is Thursday. Correct, Phot?

Went again last night…it’s really something. I’ve never enjoyed gray food quite so much.
