Thanks to Ruth Longobardi, a professor at University of Richmond and a great friend of the ensemble, for the photo. Her son, Isaac, is 8bb’s youngest and biggest fan; he listens to our recordings in bed, and brought our newest CD to his school, playing it for his surely bemused classmates. (In the photo, Isaac is back and center.)

    How cool is that! There IS hope for classical music in the future .. I don’t listen to my 8th b-bird CD in bed but while I’m working (as a writer, editor & publishing consultant in Bris-bane, Australia), but then I’m Tim’s dad as well..
