In honor (I admit, as an Australian, that I wrote ‘honour’ first…) of Harvard doctoral student Ashley Fure’s new piece, Susurrus, which we premiere tonight in Camp Concert Hall, University of Richmond, my favorite rehearsal word of the week was ’susurrific’. Uses included:
‘What a susurrific solo’
‘That was some susurrific good fun’
‘You just look susurrific this mornin!’
